Welcome

Welcome to the East Kent Hunt. We hunt a country in Kent that stretches from Romney Marsh in the South, to Canterbury in the North and from the outskirts of Ashford to the West and to the Dover hinterland in the East. The country includes chalk grassland, forestry and plough and is hunted two days each week.

Despite the apparent density of the human population and the encroachment of motorway and railway, our dedicated Masters and huntsman show good sport. The hunt supports a very active Pony Club branch and in turn there is a good core of young people who regularly ride to hounds. The foot followers are a numerous and knowledgeable crew who are devoted to their pack.

We are always pleased to welcome new supporters to the Hunt whether on a horse or as a foot follower.
